Sydney Adventures

By sweetreat in , , ,

There are so many lovely places to eat in Sydney! It was really nice to stumble upon many of the restaurants I'd seen on Sydney food blogs too.

First stop: Chef's gallery.

The sweet & sour noodles were definitely my favourite! Handmade too.

Sucha grumpy face!
Vegie dumplings, meh.

Crab meat springrolls, nothing special.

Spicy prawn & pork wontons, my second favourite!

Chinese roti with pork floss, mmmm.

Rabbit marshmallows, tasted like air.
Irresistibly cute piggy buns!

Overall the food was lovely and staff very professional - they even had the chefs bring out the food to every table with masks on, while the waitresses placed the dishes on the table. Would love it if they brought one to Melbourne!

Sydney KPOP Festival

By sweetreat in , ,

Have to say I was a little regretful about purchasing these tickets after realizing that 2NE1 and 2PM weren't going to be there. :( But luckily the trip turned out pretty nice even thought the main event was a let down... Seriously, the stars were like peanuts from where we were sitting! -.-

We came late.. but there were still tonnes of empty seats left in the stadium.
Although my Sydney friend was able to get this close and personal to Miss A's Suzie. She even held his hand! I dare say he didn't wash it for a few days haha
We appeared on MBC at times while they filmed the whole event :)
For the next few days we indulged in some lovely restaurants and the sights of Sydney.

So happy nostalgic to see this! My best friend and I would come here everyday on our last trip to satisfy our greentea cravings.

Rainbow Restaurant

By sweetreat in , , ,

The parents and I had been wanting to try this place for awhile now, and with very attractive prices per person on weekdays, who could stop us?

The first thing we noticed were all the lights. Their electricity bills must be through the roof!
Very pretty though!

This tofu was delicious! The skin was crisp and the tofu so soft and silky inside :)
A photo before we got stuck into the food :)

Assortment of your average dumplings~

I know, I'm a serial waster of food :(
Yummy mango pudding!!
Not bad considering we usually spend over $100 whenever we have yumcha.

A lovely dining experience! Would highly recommend :)
